This may have been one of my favorite units. I found it incredibly challenging, but I love blending pictures together. I think that I liked it much better than when we focused on creating visual effects with the camera. Probably because I love drawing and painting and this type of photography is more similar to 2D art. I loved just putting multiple pictures or textures together to make an unrealistic looking picture. I found that trying to understand and remember the directions given in class was the hardest part, so that even when I tried to go down to work on pictures in study halls, I had trouble understanding what to do. My favorite piece was probably the song lyric project. The only thing that I wished I could have done was put a sort of rain texture over the whole picture, but I tried that and it didn't work so well. Maybe I should have tried using rain on a car window. I can always try at home. Thank you for a fun year!
